Delete Your Account

Effective: May 2026

Helix (developed by Helix) lets you delete your account and its associated data directly inside the app, in a few taps. Backend account records are permanently purged within 30 days of your request.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way and removes your data immediately on the device:

  1. Open Helix and make sure you are signed in.
  2. From the Today tab, open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the warning, then type DELETE to confirm when prompted.

Your on-device data is erased right away, and your backend account is flagged for permanent deletion.

Can’t access the app?

If you can no longer open the app or sign in, email us from the address associated with your account at support@gethelixapp.org with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will verify ownership and process the deletion on your behalf.

What is deleted

When the request is processed, the following are permanently removed:

  • Your account identity — email address and display name.
  • Your account record — account identifier, terms and safety-acknowledgement timestamps, founding-member status, and app preferences.
  • All research and health data tied to your account — saved peptides, vials and reconstitution details, cycles and stacks, logged doses, injection-site logs, dose skips, journal entries (including mood, energy, sleep, libido, and recovery), and body metrics.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Grace period (30 days): on request, your account is soft-deleted — your display name and email are cleared from your profile immediately, and your data is no longer accessible in the app. A scheduled job then permanently erases the underlying account and all associated data within 30 days. This window exists so an accidental deletion can be reversed.
  • Founding-member slots are not recovered. If you held a founding-member slot, deleting your account does not free that slot for reuse.
  • We retain no analytics, advertising, or tracking data, because Helix does not collect any — see our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your local data without deleting your account

You can delete individual records (doses, cycles, vials, journal entries, and metrics) at any time inside the app without deleting your account. Sign out clears your login session on the device but does not delete your account or data — signing back in with the same account restores your records.
